A day at the BallPark

The day has been about getting ready for the first day of the semester. Even though I'm not having any classes tomorrow I still have a lot of shit to dooo. But I was not going to spend my last day before school with that so me and Tomi (Roommate) decided to go out and find a good, authentic, cheap and close restraurant that serves Real Korean food. We totally succeeded :D

Really nice dish called Ddeokbokki. Looks like pasta but it is Korean rice-cake
in a spicy sauce. The texture is interesting, quite chewie and it has
a little bounce to it when you bite it. 3000Krw (21kr)
And after that we had planned with some others to go and see a Baseball game which is really popular here in South Korea. It was the LG Twins VS Lotte Giants. This was my first baseball game ever and it was kinda what I expected (that it didn't happen to much) but the crowd surly made the experience. They were cheering like crazy, both teams had more or less the same amount of fans at the stadium so they all sang and cheered quite well. We rounded the day up by getting our first Korean street food meal which was really good, maybe on of the best so far but it could also be because the change of dining scenario (sitting on a bench on the crossroad).

Tomi in his nice plastic bag. Don't know why but they passed out thousands
of orange bags that everybody blow up and put it on the head..... just like that.

Amazing street food, some Korean version of fried dumplings,
one with vegetables and one with some meat (thinking chicken)
Payed 3000Krw (21kr)

Just saw that I didn't add any pictures from the orientation day, so thought I should just throw some in with this post =) At the night all he buddies and the international people went to bar. We payed 150 00Krw (100kr) and got food and how much Soju and beer we could drink.
Soju: South Korean rise wine that is about 20%abv they
either shoot it or mix it with there beer ..... They say it tastes better but
I don't know. The Soju by it selves doesn't taste that much to be honest,
like weak vodka. But I like it :)

My table, the one on my right side is my Buddie Park

Extra photo :D Tried out the school cafeteria the other day and was so happy about it, will eat there almost everyday.
