So I'm finally settled in

Now I have been in Seoul since the 27th of Aug, the first days have just been about setteling in, buying supplies, trying out Korean food, orientationday at the university and attending several welcoming parties. Haven't had the chance to use my camera as much the first days but I'll post some pictures from yesterday.

Migaon Ville - This will be my home for the coming 4 months

And the Seoul Metro system which is the 5th longest metro system
in the world is something I kinda need to learn ASAP

Normally quite packed with people
I have been spending most of my time so far with Tomi (my roommate) and Eva.
Yesterday Eva's Korean friend showed us around, first to a really nice fried chicken restaurant,
then we took a stroll along a handmade river, had some Patbingsu (Korean Ice cream)
and then walked along the old City wall up to a park.

Patbingsu: Which is a Korean shaved ice dessert, this one that we had is
obviously a Cheescake Patbingsu. What they do is that they "shave" the ice
in a special mixer and then add several ingredients. In this case a cheesecake piece,
creamcheese icecream, cream, and a couple of more things. Then you just mix and hack
everything (doesn't look as good then) but its so packed with taste even though
there are a lot of ice in there. Seing myself having this many times during my stady here.

Old city wall.

Up at the park which is a great viewpoint around Seoul.

So cheesy, but couldn't resist :P

Why so serious :|
Today its the last day before school starts and there is a lot of stuff that needs to be fixed before I can get in to routine. One funny thing is that they request a x-ray of our chest for the dormitory students :S Anyhow I can't do much today so I'll be going to a baseball game at jamsil stadium with some other exchange students.
